The two possible birth years for a 60-year-old
Birthday already passed this year
1966
Born 2026 − 60 = 1966. Your birthday fell between January 1 and today, so you have already turned 60 in 2026.
Birthday still coming this year
1965
Born 2026 − 60 − 1 = 1965. Your birthday is later in 2026, so you are still 59 until then.
How to work it out yourself
The formula for finding your birth year from your age is: birth year ≈ current year − your age. For you: 2026 − 60 = 1966. Then apply one simple correction — if your birthday hasn't happened yet this year, subtract one more year (1965). That's why "what year would i be born in if i was 60" always has two valid answers until your birthday arrives.
- Generation (born 1966)
- Generation X
- Generation (born 1965)
- Generation X
- Chinese zodiac options
- Snake or Horse
- Next milestone
- 61 years old
- in 2027
